TECHNIQUE CLASS For leaders and followers from a woman’s point of view.
In the class we will explore situations, critical points and commonly uncomfortable places in the dance, to resolve bodily and conceptual tensions, making the dance more fluid, pleasant and safe, both for the follower and the leader, adopting technical corrections that take into account the corporeality and needs of both roles, creating a more balanced and equitable dance.
The class is taught by Andrea Ballestero and Francesca Vaccari, teachers and dancers, directors of the schools El Puntazo and El Living.
TALK – Forum “The Tango we want”
Through the presentation of experiences, anecdotes and reflections on the most common gender dynamics in both social and professional Tango, we will make visible the imbalances that urgently need to be corrected, adapting Tango to the current times.
The talk will be moderated by Majo González, psychologist specialised in gender and equality and tango dancer, with the intervention of Andrea Ballestero and Francesca Vaccari.
All attendees will be able to participate by asking questions or contributing their own points of view.
PRACTICE
After the class and the talk we stayed dancing, practising, resolving doubts and sharing in the practice of El Puntazo Estudio de Tango with a delicious free snack.
